 The National Library of Ireland.

What a wonderful place to visit!

In May of 2019, I was lucky enough to visit Ireland and spend time in this library.

Thanks to the gentleman who oversees security of the library, but also tells stories of the library's history. He was a delight to speak with and the epitome of an Irish storyteller.

Thank you also to the knowledgeable and kind librarian in the Genealogy Advisory Service department. The free website www.irishgenealogy.ie

If you like books and libraries and ever make it to Dublin, Ireland, check out the National Library of Ireland. For now, with travel limited due to the pandemic and most of us only visiting places online, go to: www.nli.ie
